Yeah, he had a small part as a stereotypical gay guy in a mediocre romantic comedy ten years ago.
I suppose Battlestar Galactica doesn’t count because it’s sci fi, shock horror, but:
-it was a FIVE-YEAR role
-He played so many different things in one character (traitor, lover, prisoner, angel, etc.)
-He did an amazing job
-It’s the role he’s the most proud of, and with good reason
-BSG is where he got most of his current fans from
-It’s probably the reason he gets roles today
If he had chosen to do the gay best friend roles he was offered after BJD, then I wouldn’t mind so much that people say he’s known for BJD. But it was one role like that. He can do SO MUCH MORE.
After making this decision, I’ve had a TERRIBLE YEARNING NEED to talk about it but I won’t! I will not talk about it, no matter how much I am tortured.
Only if James asks me to talk about it. He might have to pay me a little before I reconsider.
From now on, I may think whatever about his weight. I may think he’s skinny, I may think he’s fat, or ANYTHING in between. The sky’s the limit! Even if I thought his body is made of cotton wool and cardboard, I would not talk.
I am wrapped in an enigma, when it comes to my views on his weight.

What’s the difference between Baltar and HeadBaltar? EYEBROWS. Obviously. One looks stern, the other goofy. I love that he thought it’s Six in disguise. :D

This scene was amusing, but it made no fucking sense and had barely any point to it.
Was Tricia unavailable? ‘cause there is no real reason to have Baltar talk to himself instead of six, when six was always his “angel” before and after.
Yeah, you’re right actually. There is no point to the scene, and it led nowhere.
But I can forgive that because it was really damn funny. If we’re going to have endless scenes of Adama shaving and pilots getting drunk, I think Gaius can have a scene that is just FUN. I think they were like, “Yeah, James Callis is awesome at ad libbing, let’s let him play for a while.” It was almost all ad libbed, after all.
