The white patch on the black cat
"Moral Panics"

First, a group or behavior is classified as dangerously deviant. The deviance is characterized as both a serious threat to societal welfare and as a symptom of deep social ills. The media whips up public concern on the subject by focusing rapidly increasing amounts of attention on it, often in an alarmist fashion that exaggerates the extent of – and the danger presented by – the behavior and those who engage in it. This in turn leads decision makers to act, usually with the stated goal of completely eliminating, or at least greatly reducing, the deviants and/or their behavior. Whether or not the action is successful, the panic eventually recedes as public attention moves on to other threats, real or imagined. ~Paul Campos (via fucknohealthism)

“So my amazing daughter, Emma, turned 5 last month, and I had been searching everywhere for new-creative inspiration for her 5yr pictures. I noticed quite a pattern of so many young girls dressing up as beautiful Disney Princesses, no matter where I looked 95% of the “ideas” were the “How to’s” of  how to dress your little girl like a Disney Princess…We chose 5 women (five amazing and strong women), as it was her 5th birthday but there are thousands of unbelievable women (and girls) who have beat the odds and fought (and still fight) for their equal rights all over the world

MONDLER.

That’s the one that annoys me the most.

And it’s one of the dumbest shows/pairs too.

You mean like Brangelina? Gotta agree, it gets old very fast.

exactly like Brangelina, and Bennifer when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were a thing.

Bennifer is even worse.

Like, Brangelina is sort of cute and could maybe even be a fantasy name.

But then you have constructions like, I dunno, fandom things.

Now that I said that, I can’t think of any offhand. I just remember being confused and annoyed by them.

If Gaius and Six had a portmanteau name, what would it be?
